The week did not start out as promising. . .
Sad tulips
and smothered sedum.
But the cherry tree has a blossom. . .
And that tells me to put out the hummingbird feeders. . . Spring is here in South Jersey.

Yes, they did just fine, Derrick. The sun was shining yesterday and things are looking happier. Myself included.

Thanks, Laurie – Yes, snow in April is not unheard of in these parts, but it is certainly discouraging to the gardeners & farmers.

I’ve been impatiently waiting to see a hummingbird but so far no visitors. Hope you are having better luck because they are certainly exciting friends of nature. đŸ™‚

They have been here since April 24th (at least, that’s when I first saw them). I have learned that when the cherry tree blossoms, they will soon follow. Hoping you get some soon – they ARE fun!
