Wow that is such a lot of snow – and it’s almost the end of March!! I can see it would not add to your preferred activities π This too shall pass ……..
Great opening line and closing pic. I have probably mentioned the time when I facilitated a Senior Probation Officers support group, and I was the only person who arrived after a run of nine miles through the snow. None of the members could beat the weather π And I had to battle to receive just half my fee.
I know you used to run to work, but I’m not sure I ever heard that particular story. We are similar creatures. One time I was the only one to show up at work (in a car) and got yelled at by the guy trying to plow the parking lot. I wrote a letter of complaint to his boss calling him a condescending brute. I later found out everyone called him C.B. thereafter.
Your photos are lovely. Snow is always more beautiful mid December than almost the first of April. And, yes, running and getting to work definitely aren’t enhanced by snow on the roads. Hope it melts soon. π
Phew! You got clobbered! While I am thankful the storm did not make its way farther north, I am sorry for you folks who got hit. How much did you get, do you think?
Our county was one of the hardest hit in the area; I’d say we got somewhere around 10 inches. We were lucky in that our power was only off for about 20 hours total. Some people are still without.
It’s true, Laurie – the lack of power hits hard. Ours was off for maybe 6 hours hours the first day – a day I was working from home. Then it went back on and I immediately got happier. Then it went off and I went to bed. lol
It will pass but not soon enough! π

You’re right, Pauline – the end of March is not when we expect such a snow. That first 70 degree day is going to feel especially good this year.

Thank you, Judy. The sun is out today. I may have to put on my boots and go assess the damage. Tons of branches down everywhere.

Oh, that’s awful. When we have power, we can face a lot. Hope everyone gets their power back soon.

Though cold, it is so very beautiful isn’t it, snow makes the world look peaceful and clean, I love it.

I love the sound, as well. All that snow sucks up the noises and muffles the traffic. It will always be magical to me, I think.
