It still goes well below freezing every night – so I can’t put out my bird baths or hummingbird feeders (they’ll freeze and break.) But the sun has been shining bright. And that’s enough to get me out in the yard for spring clean up.
And this happened!
There is nothing like this first flowers of spring, is there?

How wonderful!! Doesn’t the first sight of spring flowers make the world alright again? I love the way they bring light and hope and a softening of the landscape and make my heart sing even at half a world away and at opposite seasons! xo
