I marched off to Drexel University in 1981 intent on cooking and sewing my way to a fabulous career. When I realized I was the ONLY incoming Freshman in the entire College of Home Economics, I caved. I figured my talents and dreams were outdated, and I switched my major to Business.
So I’m a bookkeeper. I’m a bookkeeper who grows organic tomatoes, bakes homemade butter rolls, and sews without patterns.
